University Dorm Complex

IET worked with a multi-disciplinary investigative team to determine the procedures needed to bring this 10-year-old, 1,000,000 square feet dorm complex with deferred maintenance issues back into good condition.

Using thermal imaging and moisture mapping, IET was able to document significant moisture intrusion issues caused by building envelope failure and by repeated flooding of dorm rooms due to inadequate design and maintenance of dorm unit bathroom facilities.

IET worked with the rest of the team to develop solutions for the problems found and to determine the costs that would be incurred in the process.
